Pure Entropy Technologies, LLC (PET) has developed an innovative, proprietary, symmetrical encryption algorithm (JUMBLE) for Government security applications. This algorithm provides an end-to-end or site solution, for use by individuals or across an enterprise environment.
JUMBLE uses up to a 2048 bit key in its non-polynomial, synchronous stream based cipher making it capable of encrypting any form of digital data, including real-time streaming high definition video. Data ”through put”, using a single core of a Dell Latitude 2ghz Core II Duo laptop, ranges from 76MB/s to 209.6 MB/s depending upon the specific algorithm used and the parameter settings.
JUMBLE’s data “through put” is from 12.57% to 308.19% faster than AES 256, resulting in a proportionate reduction in power usage.
With an uncompressed, compiled source code of 56k, JUMBLE can be incorporated into virtually any electronic device or in any tier of architecture. Since JUMBLE is written in ANSI C99 and doesn’t use C calls or libraries, it can be run in the kernel as well as the UNIX and Linux environments.
